A bright brand with big goals
Ledlenser is a global powerhouse in portable lighting – think high-performance head torches, LED torches, area lights and lanterns. Their UK operation, led by ecommerce head Jennifer Tully, handles a hybrid model: about 75% B2B and 25% DTC, with ambitions to keep growing their DTC fast and smart.
When Jennifer joined, the UK subsidiary was essentially a distributor. No owned web presence. No fulfilment strategy. No infrastructure to go DTC. Just ambition, a premium product offering, and a team ready to make moves.

Big dreams but no engine
In 2022, Ledlenser UK was gearing up to launch their first-ever DTC site. But they faced some big hurdles:
- No DTC fulfilment capability: Their warehouse was designed for pallet-level B2B orders, not individual parcels or marketplace dispatches.
- No inventory software: Without a stock management system, they couldn’t track inventory across platforms or manage channel splits effectively.
- No in-house team for Amazon or eBay: They needed to establish these marketplaces quickly but didn’t have specialist hires yet.
- A bulky B2B warehouse that couldn’t flex for direct orders: Their current setup was not equipped to offer fast shipping, flexible packaging or returns at scale.

We were brand new, setting up Ledlenser.co.uk from scratch. We didn’t know what would happen, post-COVID, but we knew we needed a partner that could scale with us.
